Parallel Lives (2007) [7'30"]

Parallel Lives is a collaboration between video artist Kevin Dotson and myself. The video was captured in Atlanta and Tallulah Gorge State Park in Georgia. The first section of the work presents various parallel lines and grids used in urban settings, while the second half shows the curves, ebbs, and flows of nature. The music likewise reflects a dichotomy - the first section features a hard-edged and almost purely synthesised music and the second section features more ethereal music based upon samples of instruments and voices.
